Forget About the Term “Mail Order Brides”!!

You should forget about the term and the idea of “Colombian Mail Order Brides” or any other type of “Mail Order Brides” once and for all!

The term is an absolutely demeaning and totally inaccurate term that suggests that women are simply objects to be bought and sold, with or without their consent.

The term “Mail Order Brides” implies that someone can simply “select and order” a woman from a mail order catalog, or an online database… just like they would buy a watch or a pair of shoes… and then have the woman “shipped” directly to their front door via UPS or FedEx. That sounds crazy, right?

If you are going to be successful finding love and happiness with Colombian women, or any women, then you are going to have to respect women as beautiful, intelligent, and equal.

In your search for a foreign bride, or serious relationship with a foreign woman, etc. there will be times when your friends or family may accuse you, or ridicule you, for searching for a “mail order bride”.

You should confront them immediately on their demeaning use of this term, and assure them that you are looking for love with a woman that you respect and admire, and the fact that your potential mate may live in another country at the moment does not mean that they deserve to be ridiculed.

You can also remind them that their ideas about the process are just as outdated as the term, “mail order brides”, because we live in a global society, and a global economy, where we can communicate with someone on the other side of the world just as easily as someone 2 blocks away by cell phone, Facebook, email, WhatsApp, Viber, Twitter, and various other forms of social media.

Statistically speaking, Online Dating has become the norm for millions of people with the growing popularity of sites like Match, Plenty of Fish, Ok Cupid, and E-Harmony, just to name a few. As a result, many more people are finding online love connections outside of their city, state, and country on a daily basis.
